Relaxed meet ups with small showcase performances and casual atmosphere. Come and mingle with fellow Creative Maidstonians! Held bi-monthly at Studio 6 (MEPA ) Maidstone.

Our initial idea was simple: Creative events, activities and resources. For creatives, by creatives. We have some wonderful venues already hosting our meet and draw, networking and live jam mash up nights.

We believe Maidstone has a great deal to offer for Creatives of all disciplines and experience levels, whether you are an Artist, Musician, Performer, Venue Owner or have any other vested interest in the growing the art scene in Maidstone, our aim is to work together to ignite a sense of community and to utilise these assets to their greatest effect.

MAG MASH UP! Events
In collaboration with Harmony Maidstone, these MASH UP events are live jam nights where the only rule is that you can't play or perform anything that is not original! Come and get experimental, draw along and dance to the live jam!
Quick Draw
Come and meet up and draw while enjoying a pint or a coffee at one of our lovely local pubs. No prior experience necessary, just bring a sketchbook and pencils!
MAG-ZINE
Our latest offering is the MAG-ZINE. We have setup a blog here on this site to enable you to share your latest gigs news, upcoming albums, exhibitions, venue opening or looking for adverts for band members, equipment and art tools. The best part is we will target advertise the blog to other local local creatives, Maidstone businesses and venues. Creative Minds Networking Events
The core of our platform, our bi monthly networking events at Studio 6 are a chance to get to get to know likeminded creatives in a relaxed atmosphere.
With short showcase performances, games and short talks and announcements for relevant events and exhibitions in the Maidstone area.

About Us
We are Maidstone Arts Group, MAG. Formed in early 2022 by a group of likeminded individuals who felt the time was right to create a new social element to Maidstone's creative offering, to make a dedicated effort to bring as many of the artists, musicians, writers, groups and creative business owners together in one place as we could. Be that in person or online, we are trying to nurture our creative culture in Maidstone, and to help make it an even more encouraging and welcoming place to make your mark.
We are an informal, non hierarchical group of artists, musicians, event planners, promoters, writers, creative business owners, radio DJs and presenters, who work together to make ways to get creatives together and support each other's work and talents.
We meet about two evenings a month at various venues around town. It's always a friendly and lively discussion, if you'd like to get more involved with MAG planning and ideas please get in touch - we are always excited to meet new creatives with a passion for our creative community.

New album out soon? Need a new bassist? Exhibition next month? Buzzing over the work of a new artist in the area? Sick of algorithms showing your events the day after they happened? Us too.
Why not submit an article to our MAG-ZINE blog! We accept up to 1000 words and one video link per article. You can submit podcasts of up to 15mins length. All articles must include at least one feature image of minimum 1000x667px. You can include up to five further photos to go with the article.
The blog will be target advertised towards Maidstone local creatives and businesses and we hope the more people use it, the more lasting creative connections we can make.
You can also register to make comments and reply to call-outs!
We reserve the right to remove any spam, non relevant or derogatory content. This is the place to big ourselves and each other up and make useful working connections. Honest reviews and opinions are most welcome, personal grievances are not.
